Your rate of pay will be discussed at interview and will be based on a number of things, e.g. your experience, subject area etc. However, Classroom will guarantee to pay the highest possible rate.

When you get paid       (Click here to download a printable timesheet)

All our teachers are paid weekly in arrears, i.e. on the Friday after the week you work. To ensure you get paid promptly, you need to ensure that a signed timesheet is with payroll by Tuesday lunchtime at the latest. We will try to notify you if we do not receive your timesheet via text message.

Your pay will then clear into your bank account by the following Friday.
Note: Cash machines (ATMs) are normally 24 hours behind, so your pay may not show on the screen even although it is already in your account.

We will deal with all statutory National Insurance Employee's Contribution (NI) and tax deductions for Pay as you Earn (PAYE) teachers.

To ensure that payment is not delayed, please keep our Payroll Department, as well as your local branch, informed of any changes to your personal details (e.g. change of address or change in bank details).

The payroll department is always available to discuss or answer any queries you may have. Alternatively check the Inland Revenue website for the most up to date information. www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk
